Q: How long will it take to convert my van?
A: We would aim to complete your conversion within four weeks
Q: Is a pop top a good idea?
A: We think they are a great idea! Not only do they give you the extra height to stand up in your van but the windows allow light to flood in and provide ventilation. Options are available for a zip out scenic canvas and with a roof bed you can sleep up to four.
Q: How much would my conversion cost?
A: Our Ford Transit custom conversions start at £11,995 Inc VAT
Q: Can I customize my conversion?
A: You certainly can. We have a wide range of colours and finishes to choose from when it comes to the interior of your van. Lighting, upholstery and even pop top canvas colour can be customized.
Q: How long will my leisure battery last?
A: Without charging via the engine or a solar panel, most leisure batteries will generally last around two days.
Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?
A: We would ask for an initial deposit of £1000 to secure the build slot and 50% of the conversion cost up to six weeks before the start of the build to order materials.
Q: What is the difference between 12v and 230V power?
A: 12v power is provided by your leisure battery. This would power the main parts of your conversion. For example the lights, the fridge and a water pump. 230v power is used when you are on ‘hook up’ at a campsite or if you have an inverter installed. This will provide power to your three pin plug sockets and allow you to use domestic items such as a hair dryer.
Q: Do I need an inverter?
A: An inverter is ideal if you need to use 230v power when you are not on a campsite. With an induction hob it is also a great alternative to having a gas system installed in the vehicle.

Q: Does my conversion come with a warranty?
A: Yes we provide a 12-month warranty on all of our conversions
Q: Can I have photos taken during my build?
A: Yes you certainly can. All you need to do is ask
Q: What is the process of ordering my conversion?
A: Once you have got in touch with us we will arrange an appointment for you to come to our premises and talk through the best options for your needs. You can then choose the finishes for your conversion and we can look at build slot availability. If you are then happy with everything and the deposit has been paid we can then begin your build!
Q: Can I use my van ‘Off Grid’?
A: Our Elding and Vitki conversions enable you to go fully off grid. Elding is powered by a portable Eco Flow power bank and this will provide you with all your 12v and 230v power. As it is portable you can simply unplug it from your van and use it in a different location if you wish. Our Vitki conversion uses a 200ah lithium battery and inverter to provide lots of power for a long period of time. Both conversions can be fitted with a solar panel to keep the batteries topped up and both will come with alternator charging from the vehicle.
Q: What is an Eco Flow Delta 2?
A: The Eco Flow Delta 2 is a portable power bank that can provide 12v and 230v power to your campervan. It is fully portable and additional batteries can be added to increase capacity.
